When Vickie Ramon bought her home in Exford Waters three years ago, the easy connectivity to the Melbourne CBD was the biggest appeal. At the time, her daughter was travelling into the city for school each day so the easy convenience to the Cobblebank train station was the major drawcard.
Now, Vickie says it’s the convenience of living in a walkable suburb that she loves the most.
“I love going for walks around the estate,” says Vickie, a local real estate agent. I love looking at all the houses and watching the new houses go up. And see all the development that’s happening – I’m really happy with the infrastructure that’s happening.”
A typical day for Vickie means getting up and walking around the estate to the local gym or Opalia Plaza, before spending the afternoon in her garden.
“I always wave to the neighbours,” she says. “It’s a really friendly community. And so peaceful and beautiful. It’s just a nice, relaxing place to come home to.”
